A Big Thank You
First of all, thank you Scott for the special recognition! And, thank you for understanding the quality that I try to put into all my music. I feel that I'm writing the best songs of my life right now, and all I can do is continue in that vein, and we'll see what happens next year. I hope that the voting exposed some of my songs to new ears, or to old ears for a second listen. A song is just a few brief minutes of entertainment, but if you hear one enough times it becomes a part of you. Sometimes I think my songs have to grow on you.
And thank you to everyone who voted for me this year, and to those who nominated me in the first place. I know that you get where I'm coming from, and I'm glad you're out there.
I, myself, always discover new artists, and artists I've overlooked, during this voting process -- a shout out to Lastchancelance who I never really listened to until this year. Very Interesting and heartfelt music.
And thank you to everyone who is any little part of IndieMusicPeople. I'm glad we all exist and can share something that means so much to us. Congratulations to all the winners!
