This is yet another example of your mastery of song writing, arrangement, performing and production. The mix is excellent, everything in its own envelope and not crowding anything else, the relationship between guitars and keys is just right. The guitar interplay reminds me of Keef and Mick Taylor in their prime. The strong vocal is the icing on the cake.
Imagine that - a song that steps out of the gate and actually goes somewhere. I know there are no rules in this game, but we could all learn a thing or two from you on how to properly construct a song.
I seriously think your songs are the best I've heard here on IMP.

Richard, this is just one incredible rock tune. I wish it went on for another 10 minutes. The production of course is flawless as always - it's a completely recognizable sound - the Scotti sound ... Plus the Water From a Stone hook is classic and perfect.... great vocals too. I noticed Bryon's comment from his station add - and AGREE - this so belongs on Featured Songs. I don't know what would draw visitors more to click around the site than having an upbeat irresistible song like this noticeable first thing.

Richard - didn't mean to get off topic ie whether or not a song is on the featured list. I don't like to get hung up on stats either. I guess I got over enthusiastic in my comments haha. So let me dial it back to the review of Water From A Stone which I obviously think is a terrific tune :)

Unfortunately, your play and Don's play of the song as well as anyone else's did not register as "plays" if they occurred when the Cave was not functioning. I'd like to see the song catch up eventually on a level playing field.

Richard, This song is too good not to move up the charts. I have a new musical venture with a live band. I would like to perform / cover this with your permission.
Best, Bruce
