"Art in America", music,songs, has a new 2020 release. The album Cloudborn contains a digipak collectors edition of photos and artwork by both Ioannis, of Dangerous Age and AIA drummer Dan Flynn. Cloudborn includes 6 songs produced by David Hentschel. Additionally, there are 3 songs produced by band member Jim Kuha, and 3 songs produced by lead singer Chris Flynn. The album is available soon as a physical CD from Amazon, CD Baby and various other stores and websites. Also up on iTunes and Google Play. Streaming at Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Dweezer, Apple Music, etc. The album contains over 1 hour of music!

Art in America, 1st album was first re-released by Renaissance Records on May 15 1996. Original release date was 1983. This is the 40th anniversery of this album, as of this writing on 2/4/2023. This album is now out-of-print, with Pavillion Records owner John Luongo stating new vinyl is forthcoming, however he has been saying that since 2000, and the band has long since given up on Mr Luongo making that happen. In the meantime, I have placed songs from the album on Youtube, as well has here.

I am using Indie Music People as a depository for old and new AIA music, as well as a few of the Eddy Offord produced tracks and some "live-in concert" recordings. If you would like to hear any of the new music, please go the bands pages on Youtube or Soundcloud or visit us at artinamericamusic.

Art in America was the first rock band to feature a string harpist playing a full Lyon & Healy pedal string harp. AIA garnered considerable airplay and MTV video play when the album was released. AIA then toured in support of the album, headlining and opening for bands such as: U2, Split Enz, Roxy Music, Bill Bruford, Captain Beefheart, King Crimson and Steve Hackett.

A 1983 concert, originally recorded by King Biscuit Flower Hour, can be currently streamed for free at Wolfgang's Vault.com. The influential LP cover artwork painted by Ioannis, was featured in the book "1000 Record Covers" by Michael Ochs, published by Taschen.
