"Music is the only religion that delivers the goods."

Probably Never, Always Will
My bro Dean Sottile turned me on to this lyric a few months ago and the melody came to me in one sitting. FInally recorded it. Enjoy!
Ode to Robert Hunter
The first song I wrote with Dean Sottile. A beautiful tribute to lyricist Robert Hunter. I knew there was music in those words.
NEVER GONNA WORK
Please stand and remove your hat for the singing of our national anthem. I wrote this song for my mom. The first time I played it for her she chased me around the house with a rolled-up Better Homes & Gardens magazine. It eventually became one of her favorites.
Your Love is Like a Pizza
I wrote this one in the 1970s for a girl who worked at the Numero Uno Pizza on La Cienega Blvd. (Restaurant Row) in Los Angeles. I walked into the place on a Saturday night when it was packed and sang it for her right in front of everyone. I got the date!
YEEEOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A blues trio featuring Alan Waxman on the drums and Eric Fliegel on bass backing me on a song I wrote in the 1970s. This version was recorded at Eric's Studio in 1991. It's kind of... loose. Golden Kayak winner - Best Blues Song - 2019
A neighbor left a note on my car. I was inspired.
