I spent my formative years (‘68–‘75) playing in Rock & Roll/Blues bands, part of the Ann Arbor, Michigan counter-culture music scene. Following that, my career took me to Europe, doing club tours in Scandinavia, residing in Oslo, Norway for a time, and residing, writing, and recording at a studio retreat in Southern Italy. On returning to the U.S., I moved to LA to shop my music and moonlighted as a lighting tech. I worked for Theater Vision, Inc. in North Hollywood doing location film, movie premiers, and trade shows.
In 1981 I worked in Philadelphia, collaborating with Grammy award winning (Shadowfax) violinist Jamii Szmadzinski, doing gigs and session work at Half-Track Studios. After that, I continued to write, record, and work behind the scene. I was a guitar tech for John Mellencamp, and then worked for Fantasee Lighting doing support for national touring acts.
In the 90's I worked in a popular local band ""The Beach Bashers"" out of Grand Haven, MI. We primarily played summer festivals, opening for national touring acts, sometimes performing for crowds in excess of 20,000, and got some airplay on local stations.
I continue to be involved in the technical field, working for CAE Inc, a leading innovator in lighting products for the performing arts. CAE evolved from Grand Funk Railroad's touring crew. I am also involved in writing and recording multimedia demos with Ivan Kral (Patti Smith and Iggy Pop) for the Detroit NBC affiliate WCIV.
I have a beautiful wife, Wanda Cline, a gifted artist, who is my number one inspiration and a constant reminder of the real meaning of life. She has been fighting an amazing battle against breast cancer since 2002, and has been helping others by sharing her success story (www.wandacline.com). I love to paint, play the ukulele, sip martinis on my porch. I have a 24-track studio in my backyard, a beautiful garden paradise where I create music and art and hang out with my friends.

Hi, Ronnie - I sure do appreciate your kind comments - I'm enjoying the Tubin' tune now, sounds like a long-lost McCartney effort, nice work, Amigo...2008 was the Year of the Uke for me, lots of fun, started with a fixation on Joe Brown's "Concert For George" rendition of "I'll See You In My Dreams" - I still don't really know what I'm doing, just making it up as I go along. You might enjoy
