Yay!!!!
I just put in my ballot for the 2008 Golden Kayaks, and I just wanted to send my many congrats to all of the nominated artists! It's very exciting and I wish you all the best..:) IAC is my favorite place on the planet and the music is simply the best anywhere, not to mention, alot of my dear friends are over here. So, to you all, I say, "Salude"!!!

Hi, Gina - so pleased to see you checking in, and I just saw your nice note on my page - I hope you've been well, and writing and making music...I'll always remember your warm and supportive greeting when I was an IAC newbie - I couldn't believe that a talented and award-winning IAC "star" would actually TALK LIKE A NORMAL PERSON to a complete unknown!

Thanks Hugh and Muriel! I can't wait to start creating and posting up some new music, Hugh. I tell ya there are so many wonderful artists around here, that just inspire me so...:)

So good to see you here on the front-----you were instrumental in us coming to iac-----though I believe we first met when we both had songs doing well on Neil Youngs LWWT----so many others here have now been doing well there!

You not only set the standard here for warm and genuine friendship and support Gina, you keep raising the bar for all to strive to meet ... and you do so in that ever so quiet and unmatched personal style of yours.
I think it's fair to say that all of us here would, with the greatest respect, echo the words to the title of the State Hymn of Utah, that great place where you make your beautiful music: "We Love Thee" ..

I am so proud to be amongst such a great community of extraordinary poets, creative spirits, and Indie artists, whose music will stand the test of time.
Not to mention, it does my heart good, to know, that I can always return here and there is the great kinship and friendship waiting for me always...
