Short video clip from Cardiff Arena
Hi all,
someone kindly sent us some clips of our set opening for Pink at Cardiff Arena last year but most were only a few seconds long & this is really the only one long enough to share, it's a great memory for us as our drummer moved to Spain a couple of gigs later & he's sorely missed, anyone up for drumming in the Cambridgeshire area UK?

Yeah it sure was nice to have space to move without being squeezed between the dart board & the ladies loos!!

Heckuva good time!
Nice stage!
(We played last night squeezed into a corner beside the bar. Next gig, Feb. 29, will be much better as the venue is designed specially for music.)
Thanks for sharing your video. Anyone else?

Sorry, Maria, but I must admit (from my perspective at least) being squeezed next to the ladies loo, on the rare occasion where I do actually open my eyes, does have its' advantages :-) ha ha!

LOL @ Village Jammers, yes I think the boys in our band have often thought it a plus point to be near the lady's quarters too haha! Thanks for your comments, I hope we'll play some good venues in the future again and best of luck with your gigs, playing in a venue specially designed for live music is always so much better, did you ever get to a pub gig and have to start moving the tables & chairs to make a space for your band? That's happened to us a few times & I always find the worst gigs are where people are eating nearby, somehow restaurants & rock don't seem to mix!

It's really great to have so much feedback here, cheers everyone & thanks Lace, you being behind the tree reminded me of the time Paul & I were playing an acoustic set in a tiny bar & the guy came to refill the cigarette machine - he just moved my mic stand over & went straight on ahead...we continued..... & then dammit someone came up, pushed past me and put his money in the machine to get a packet of cigs, I'm laughing now but it wasn't really fun at the time, it was a grit your teeth & pretend to smile moment!
Thanks so much Larree & Hugh & wish we could have met you Jack!!

Oh Maria, the war stories of playing in clubs should be a collab book we all put out... we could submit it to Petra for her abuse stories.......
