Things you hate about life and want to get off your chest.
I've been writing too much about love, this is more my bread and butter. :~D

I hate little tiny things that break which mean you have to buy a whole new big thing.
I hate that you can't see the stars if you live near big cities.
I hate Niagara Falls (excuse me - not me, that was the 3 Stooges)
I hate rubberneckers on the highway.
I hate speedtraps.
I hate passive aggressive people who might come on this thread and scold me cause I shouldn't be so negative.. :~D

You shouldn't hate hate. Hate is a valid emotion. It's part of the continuum of expression, without any one of which, the others wouldn't quite be the same. Sometimes we learn more about people from what they hate than what they love. Actually, it's a thin line between love and hate. - The Persuaders
Now clowns, we agree totally on them. :~D

Well i hate insomnia for one thing (its now 3.50 in the morning and i gotta be up at 8)
but i'll go with Anjuli's "I hate hate
There is so much more to love"
Hate can just eat you alive.
My mate Harper Stephens asked me if there was anyone i 'hated' a few weeks ago-and i realised there isn't anybody..
There's a few people i find pretty irritating-but i'm grateful i've got a life where i don't actually have to spend any time with them..

" do not hate clown please. My father was clown and many years he make much love for sadness of child "
Sorry Fi, It is more of a metephorical and asthetical sort of thing... I'm sure your Father is a lovely man and probably didn't spend all his time as a clown. BTW...have you seen any of those children lately ? ( just kidding )
I wish you and your Father much happiness and love.

I've been given too many chances to hate.
When I leave in the morning for work, it's still dark outside. Usually I stop for a moment and just stare up at the moon and stars and feel small.
It puts me at peace.
Although I cannot tollerate those who would spread hate.

I hate people who revel in their stupidity. I hate people who feel the need to drive down the middle of residential streets (if they drive that badly, they shouldn't be on the road). I hate people whose self-worth is determined by how their favourite sports teams do (you can tell I'm a Texas Rangers fan). I hate using the word "hate", even if it IS completely appropriate. I hate myself, on occasion.

I hate those who give now to take later. I hate all the paper generated on the receipt ticker at the grocery store. I hate pop-ups. I despise the beauty industry that promises happiness if you just change your hair, your lipcolor, your body parts, your wrinkles, your eyes, your lips etc etc!!!! I hate dogs that know the word 'stay' yet don't. I hate the fact that a cat can be left unattended for 3 days and I can't. I hate restaurants that screw up good quality fresh vegetable with sauces. I hate bartenders that skimp on the vodka!

In the early 60's I studied at, and graduated from, the Maryland Institute College of Art where learned all the things one should know in order to produce good art. But, at the age of 70, I look back now and realize that beside art skills I learned something much, much more important. I call this an incidental benefit of an art education: I learned that I can discover beauty anywhere. And once I realized this simple little truth I began to be a little bit less judgmental and started to take life simply for what it is at that particular moment. After all, as Tolle puts it so wisely, we always have one of three choices in life: We can either accept a situation, remove ourselves from it or change it. Once you follow this simple 'rule' the word hate disappears from your life, because when you hate something you are actually attaching yourself to it. May I humbly suggest that you think about things that you love :) Have a great day!

You make it sound like attaching yourself to things is a bad thing. Personally I prefer involvement in things I love or hate, rather than cold detachment. That's what life is about to me. Giving a fuck.

I don't think I made myself clear :)
We are all musicians here. And we musicians have learned to listen and pay attention to what I call our inner world, our feelings, our emotions. That's where our inspiration comes from. Not only do we listen to them more intensely than the average person, but we also get into them more deeply. We are the left-brainers in the right brain male community :) Because we are so close to our emotions, good or bad, I feel that we should be constantly aware of them.
Compare your emotional nature to a pond. When it is still, all is well. Then someone throws a rock into it (something upsetting happens) and the surface is no longer smooth but dancing with ripples. We are no longer calm... we are upset. Now these ripples are only on the surface of the pond. Underneath, in the depth we are not affected, unless someone throws a bomb into the pond, like someone knocking your expensive guitar off its stand:) or a drunk stumbles into your drum set, or another drunk spill his drink into your keyboard (happened to me). So when something upsets me 'on the surface', I detach myself from it by going into the deeper me. I realize that these are only tiny ripples (inconsequential events) that will be gone in a short while.
Personally, I don't like to be upset, and I do not like to be taken over by bad feelings. Since our conscious mind has a one-thing-at-a-time intelligence, by simply shifting to something pleasant, the ripples go away and all is calm again.
Life is full of detachments, and most of them are for our protection. We use a cup to hold the hot coffee, thereby detaching ourselves from the hot liquid. We wear sun glasses to detach ourselves from the harmful ultraviolet rays. We use air filters, ear plugs. We wear warm clothes to detach ourselves from the bitter cold. We live in houses to detach ourselves from the elements. And I think I will detach myself now from this thread:)
Have a great day everybody and ------ honor the moment!

Oooohhhh...
I hate trying to pry my kids' toys from the packaging they come in.
All those twist-tie things and plastic strips and tape to keep it all in place. It all really works -- too well!!!
I always cut myself at least once a year (usually around Christmastime) on one of those packaged toys.

Mr. Licht - with all do respect sir, I agree with what you are saying completely but in a fit of irony I must express that I AM attached to my finger and that IS why I am angry about my cell phone package. Ok I'm done - It had to be said and it was all in fun. The beauty of the event was that I CONQUERED the package and I am most reassured that I need to start carrying scissors. Have a great day! :P

"You shouldn't hate hate. Hate is a valid emotion."
Actually *gets technical* there are only two true emotions...love and fear. Hate is simply a derivative of fear.

I hate paying through the nose for a latte. Lattes are my second-favorite thing in life, and a light wallet means fewer of them. :) I hate that my brother spends his time defending our amazing country and yet people come to the funerals of soldiers and say that they're glad for dead soldiers [if I ever wanted to kill somebody, it would be those people. But, my brother also defends their freedom of speech, and it would ruin his good work if I did that!]. I hate that I'm almost grown-up! :)
