"I am going on a long trip and may never return... "
Good ole Sam sure had style. I miss that guy too. He brought a lot of love to this site.
Like Sam, I must take my leave as well. In a couple of weeks the kozy kween and I will move to a little village where I bought a house two years ago for $450. The renovations are almost done.
We will have dial-up internet speed only. I think that will be the end of my participation in IAC. I'll post my private e-mail in case anyone wants to stay in touch.
It's been fun.
God bless you all.
Bye for now (but not forever I hope!)

Dayum, Terry!
The little village thing sounds beautiful, but... ain't there no high-speed available? I'll miss you, sir.
Congratulations on the move and do try to swing back every now and then.

It stinks that you won't be able to cruise the halls, Terry. Please leave your music up, and please stop by whenever you can. You've got some great songs, and your presence is always welcoming and helpful. The best of luck in the new digs! I remember you talking about the great deal you got. I expect the scenery out there is beautiful.

Terry,
Get a new Lap top. You could have something twice as powerful for less than you paid for your PC.
Hurry back,
D.

Here's wishing you well and crossing my fingers that broadband will enter your region...in which case you'll pay more for a couple of years of internet service than you did for your home...lol...post some pics, I'm intrigued!
And...ROCK ON!

Hey Terry ! ... I remember you talking about this new place before ... Congrats my friend and may it all be good ... Maybe we can get some signal drums from the local natives or invest in a couple of carrier pigeons to stay in touch ... In the mean time I will get an email out to you in the next couple of days while we both still have access ..
Good luck to you bro ! ... (maybe that buffalo herd will pass by your area in the future)

Terry ... look into satellite wireless broadband. It's fairly reasonable, connects via usb, and you can have access wherever you are.
Dialup is so 90's ... 1890s, that is.

Take it easy Terry, don't get too creepy isolated from the rest of society ... when you find yourself pondering possum for dinner remember what Kev said about Satellite solutions. If you see that Sam cross your way with the Buffalo I hope you the both of you"ll play a song or two and send it our way.
Godspeed :)

Geez, Kozy, I thought you were already in operation at the new abode. Congrats on the move (before winter sets in) and all the best in your new digs. As far as internet, sounds like the satellite is the way to go. Until then.......a toast to the King of the North Country!

Hi Terry
I'm sure what you are doing is for the right reasons. I wish you all the best and i know that you will always put what is precious right at the front of your life.
i will keep in touch because i value your beliefs and quality and i'm not sad at all because you i know you are settled in your heart and i am glad that our lives touched. I know as you know that that nothing happens that isn't meant to happen.
This sounds like i'm on drugs but it's just some strong medication lol
be happy

I have read all your comments and will re-read and cherish each one.
I'd like to respond in depth but I have to go to band practice.
I do own a satellite internet dish from the days when I operated a publishing business from Whitefish Lake. The hook-up is about $400 and the service getting thin, as more and more people subscribe.
The local satellite providers are swamped with the oil boom that's going on here and residential applications have a six-month wait or more.
Anyway thanks for making my mind up about the toons, I sorta thought of tearing down my page but why really?
Thanks again for your kind wishes.

Please don't look at the negative side Jessie, there are loads of nice people left here. Think of Terry as a caterpillar which has now turned into a beautiful butterfly who flys above above us and casts a glow of love on us whenever he views us.
hey, these anti depressants are good.

Yes Glenn I will stay in touch on the Pipeline.
I sure will miss the music though. I've already missed so much just by being too busy with everything else.
It's nice to have the afternoon off to catch up on Ray and Hugh's interviews.
Time to go throw the work clothes in dryer. Thanks everybody for checking in.
And a special thanks to Sam!

I just googled Satellite Broadband, and they install the dish for 100 bucks, and the service is 50 bucks per month.
Of course, that's in USD.
In Canada ... that translates to 500 installation and 250/mo.
In Euros ... it's 12.95 to install, and 6.50/mo.

Best wishes Terry and please stay in touch via the Pipeline. You'll get used to internet access backwoods style. Last year a farmer plowing his field near here cut the ONLY telecommunications cable into the town. We were without internet, redi-tellers, atms, even cell phones - the tower here is serviced by that cable!
Virtually all business (and play!) ground to a halt.

You bought a house for $450? Is that a typo? You don't mean Four hundred and fifty dollars? Are there any more houses for sale at that price? I'm moving there too.
I hope you leave your music up and keep in touch. It feels like everyone is leaving. I'm not good at letting go..........or change. I hardly ever talk to you but, I hate to see you go. You are an intregal part of iac. It's like the beautiful work of art hanging in the living room that you never look at, until you notice that it's gone.
I hope this change is everything you've hope it will be. All the best and please keep in touch. Deb

All recent comments have been read and affectionately appreciated.
We have until the end of the month to get out of the way of the new owners of this place.
