Hope you are enjoying your birthday up in the spirit world. I am sure you will be entertaining everybody. I remember in 2006 spending most of the day searching for the 'comfortable' trousers you said you wanted for your birthday and the next day you were gone. Love to you Mum and Dad, Bobby and Billee ... may Dirgek's birthday celebrate many beautiful and joyful memories of your time shared together. I keep seeing her dancing round in a top hat with roses wearing really comfortable trousers and whistling zippety-doo-da with the most spectacular singing birds known to creation. All magical creatures return to magical places ... every time I think of her the most amazing images pop into my head. I don't feel sad today, I feel an amazing joy as her life is something to celebrate and even those of us who did not know her are benefiting from her brilliant life. Cheers Dirgek and happy day I'm so grateful you were born !

I would just like to add a tribute to Dirge from her best friend Alison who does not yet have a page here. Alison was DirgeK's best friend at school, they used to sing harmonies together and often performed at school functions. Alison is still singing, you can hear her on myspace

The Princess I remember...
A golden-haired beauty.
Her eyes, two cobalt blue crystals, sparkling with mischief, whilst secretly laughing at us all.
Her lips as red as pomegranates and a smile that's warmth could radiate a hall.
A genius.
Her mind could weave a web around each one of us and would leave us all to spin along in awe.
Such captivating stories, though true or not... we never could be sure!
A comic.
A natural born entertainer... her speed and wit would put us all to shame.
Her jokes, impressions... assassinations (!) inevitably led to small-time fame.
An artist.
A flick of a brush, a scratch of a pen, was enough to sound the "masterpiece" alarm.
A strum, a hum, a tap on a drum, she conquered all with such seductive charm.
A friend.
My best friend.
For years I missed you being in my life, wanting so much to hear you laugh (and make me cry!)
But now I know you're with me... I can think of happy memories, and sigh.

Mum,
I can only Imagine the loss of the actual person you've grown to love. But I myself can only imagine the loss it is to the world of a great talent. Someone at such a young age that already understood the art and the feeling of music and the timing of delivery that takes others years to develop.
I commend you for sharing Dirge's accomplishments, and sadly it always seems that the Greats,... the true artists leave us way to soon.
