Care to share your favorite Ramen noodle recipe?
I prefer the beef flavor and just add a little extra virgin olive oil (cold pressed). I love the way the "spices" make my lips tingle. Wash 'em down with a beer and it takes away the shakes.

Prepare the beef flavour noodles, add chili, top with sharp cheddar cheese and sour cream.

Gee Wally...I figured everybody likes Ramen noodles.
Don't be a dope Beav, just because you like eating weird junk, it doesn't mean everybody else does, too ....even musicians.
I thought if we got enough responses, we could compile a cookbook and include a CD if we put our noodles together (so to speak).

HAHAHAHA!
Naw, just a little something I cooked up to sell to the college kids. They like books, music and cheap eats. If we don't get enough recipes, though, we'll have to put it on the back burner.

VJ - I thought the punchline was: "Ward, you were a little hard on the Beaver last night."
Okay, if the chili idea sits too heavy, how about this- Prepare the French Onion flavour and add a big dollop of Ranch Dressing. Simple and certain to cause heart disease. I was trained at the Cordon Blech.

On the contrary, I think the chili idea is great....I'm gonna try it, esp. if I can find chili in a can. Accompanied by a good light ale, perhaps?
Heart disease? (snaps fingers) no prob. Redefined as restless heart syndrome. Add a little Pinot Blanc.Voila!!
Hugh's recipe sounds oriental, as in egg drop soup. Shrimp flavored.Perfect with all the MSG.
Lace's is loaded with TLC....very healthful. Suggest a visit to the local farmer's market for fresh veggies.
Sam's idea sounds good for the jocks....add the roadkill of choice. Any beer will do, unless trying to impress a cute cheerleader...Chardonnay with crow, Chianti with squirrel.
Ranch dressing goes well with anything.
As to your quote correction.....I often wondered why June always smiled.......even when Eddie showed up.

Andy's certainly fits in with the oriental chapter.........Andy, these noodles come in cellophane packets and look like they're reconstituted goo pressed through a Play-Doh factory one expects to find under the Christmas tree. Six packs for a buck (cheaper than canned tuna fish and NO mercury content). If you'll allow me to substitute them for your Chinese noodles, you're in, baby. I like the beanstock idea....high in protein. Might be good dinner conversation for the cheerleaders.
Can't make up my mind about Larree's recipe...preface, prologue, or piece de resistance (SP?)
Picture it...cookbook signing tours (regionally, of course) at supermarkets and bookstores, three or four song performance, strictly acoustic...very low overhead costs. We'll have Ramen and Maruchan in a bidding war for the contract..........oh the possibilities.
