Excuse me, Carolyn. It was nice to see you at the Borderline performance (youtube video). You exude an air of confidence happy wheels just by being you. I'd love to run into you sometime. I'll be performing at the Rooster bar in Pitt Meadows. Then, in the end of October, I was at The Wired Monk.

Hey Carolyn, was checking out some music on IAC and found your song...a beautiful song, lyrics and vocals. Wish you best of luck in your music future. My son, Eric Geibel, also has a song on the same IAC site that I co-wrote with him Trouble Know I'm Here. Warm regards. Bruce

Carolyn
thank you so much for your answer at the blog...that time cant be bought or bought back " thing you said, stood out so much,
i have had the same thoughts about things in the past and not being there for others when I was pursuing my own ambitions and self importance and when you come right down to it, it is more important to care for yourself with time for ones self and placing people over things or ignoring supposed special opportunities sometimes is the way to go.....so thank you for your insightful comment, some wisdom indeed ,perhaps from experience
again thanks
cheers

I like the video, CT. Nice little set-up on a big stage. I've always been adverse to the huge stage set-up, altho' I guess it is necessary sometimes.

Hi Carolyn, I'm having another listen to the remixes they are certainly more dynamic! It's not just volume!
We got our 2 in the email this morning, but as we are on dial up(we've used up our broadband for this month) I'm going to wait 'til next month b4 I upload them.
Was it easy, I'm afraid of losing all those numbers for "the Nobody" we may never have another chance for a #1
You are a true Indie muso with a beautiful delivery----I would love to see you play live!!!!

What can I say. This is a gorgeous song about a heart-breakingly sad subject. Carolyn's voice brings to the surface all the tears that have been shed for this tragedy, but also the sound of strength and hope the courage to keep going. I went to NOLA for the first time last June and fell immdeiately in love. Bless Carolyn and the others that keep this close to ALL our hearts.

Water's risin' has hit 25 on the Folk/Acoustic... charts and 355 on the all genres. I must say it humbles me to see it has come this far, especially amongst so many other good songs. Anyway I've been fighting a horrible cough so I haven't made it out to any new coffee shops like I've wanted to.
I have been asked to play June 3rd at a small event at the YWCA so I look forward to playing there. Thanks for listening, more good things to come...

Water's risin is at 149 in the Acoustic genre and 1749 overall genre. I'm so excited to get some other songs posted. I just finished writing a song about my daughter and I'll be playing it today at a West Vancouver nursing home. Hope they like it!

Well these IAC charts are pretty exciting to watch. 'Water's risin' has moved up the Folk/Americana etc.. chart to 174 in just 5 days and overall 2076. I have so much to update on my own site, especially linking to this site. Ahh but it is gardening season and we've been having nice weather so it's hard to be inside....:-) Thanks for listening!!

Well I've tried to edit my name and add my last name..d'oh! will leave it for now.
I'm working on rerecording some songs I've put on a 'demo-CD'. The dream of having professional musicians and a producer to help with my production is just that ....a dream! So here I am just me & a guitar doing what I love to do and sharing it with whoever will listen.
Hope you find it encouraging in some way...peace to all!
