You Could Save Me Save a pound dog's life! Our nation's dogs are being destroyed in pounds at the rate of one dog per hour, every day. This is happening simply because there is not enough space. We cannnot let this go on any longer. This song was written to raise awareness and funds for dogs on death row. All proceeds from downloads will go directly to rescues who save their lives. Please download the song and share this campaign with everyone you know. It is now up to us to be their voice. Together, we can
Everything You Said melodic, airy, atmospheric
The Sky Will Fall (revised) Soft, melodic, piano and vocals
Best Friend acoustic and melodic
Last Angel soft indie, neil finn style, guitar based, with harmony
Picking Up Glass I was listening to 'Travis' a lot when I wrote this, so it's inspired by them
Beyond The Veil Dark, quite heavy
7/30/2011 5:19:49 AM Hey, No we didn't throw Leave me where you found me away, it's been changed a lot and it's now available as a download as The Charity Single For Death Row Dogs. The link is here: http://www.songfordogs.org.uk and it has a video to go with it on the home page. How lovely that the song as it was originally has been 'your song' what a compliment! wow! If you send me a private message on IAC with your email address I will send you the MP3 for the original version. Best wishes Cathy & Anthony Lane x
7/15/2011 9:07:35 PM Did you throw away Leave Me Where You Found me? :( If so, is there anyway I could purchase it and download it as an MP3 somewhere? It has been "my" song for several years, and I am kicking myself now for not buying it at the time. The vocal and instrumental dynamics of it are incredible.
5/22/2010 2:32:27 PM Cathy just listened to "Everything You Said" and I adored it. Would you guys be up for CD swap? Mine for yours? Big hug from L.A., Carrie
5/22/2010 2:29:54 PM Cathy, I never let you know how appreciative I was to receive your sweet comment to my music back toward the end of 2009. So sorry... I should check my site on KIAC much more often but life gets busy... much happiness to you - looking forward to hearing more of your music!

My IAC page is our official bandpage, so you can always catch us here!!! I place the damn comment on MY page instead of yours (I am such a twit sometimes), so now you get double thanks!!! LOL...
10/16/2009 12:11:25 PM Cathy & Anthony, What beautiful music!!! You guys renind me of "Fleetwood Mac" on, "Everything You Said". You definitely have the style of music that should be on radio. Do you have any of your material played in the UK? Thanks for the lovely compliment on our page. Your love for music shows in your work and good luck with the shelter for the dogs. So, honorable...Good luck. Slim
3/13/2009 7:15:45 PM Cathy, if it plays OK on your computer, I wouldn't be concerned with reloading. The difficulty must be with mine. Seems to be an erratic annoyance that I have yet to resolve. Cheers (keep 'em coming....you sound great) Mike
3/10/2009 10:15:47 PM Hi, Cathy, You're quite welcome for the song add to Squeeky Wheel....it's a good'n. Seems, though I'm having difficulty making it play. Had the same problem with our song Buddha on the Road and ended up reloading it to our page. I don't know whether or not it's just a glitch in my computer, but would you mind double-checking your song to see if it plays?(and please let me know?) Thanks, Mike the Rivergods
3/9/2009 3:47:24 AM Wow, your music is soooo soothing. I wanna jump in a bubble bath and listen. "Everything You Said" is my fave so far...

3/1/2009 6:48:27 PM Great songs here, Cathy. Enjoyed it yesterday but forgot to leave you a message here. Thanks for your visite and your kind words about my music! Diego
2/27/2009 8:15:19 PM You have some wonderful songs here. Don't let writer's block get you down. If you wrote these songs, you're capable of writing more. Let that confidence carry you though the downtime. Get out and enjoy life. That will inspire you to write again. The more you try to force the songs to come, the more they will stay away. Sometimes you have to stand back from a picture to see it more clearly. There are all kinds of tricks that supposedly cure writer's block but there's no magic formula. The more life you embrace, the more art you will create. If you can't paint a sunset, go and watch one. It may inspire the creation of the painting.
