Knowing of the personal history of this artist and his 'fight'
with cancer, this beautiful piece of music has snippets of
medical environments via hospital shadow sounds in places
amongst a peaceful ambient trip. Long Live this artist.

Steve April
Late Bloomer (collabro Steve Ison)
Hey! I wanna date this girl!...oh, thats right...she died
in a snow-blurry car wreck... All the un-usual musical fare
'blooming' out of this magical song from the dynamic and
theatrical songwriting craftsmen April/Ison..or is it...
Ison/April?...doesn't matter..they're on the same team
here as they draw the listener from a light-hearted intro..
instantly into a vaudeville memory of a feisty gal and
her untimely death..was she April's lover? April and Ison's
clever humor will probably prevent us from ever knowing...
but just like 'poetry-in-motion', the 'Late Bloomer' lady,
a clandestine love affair..(?), and even this song must
come to a musical, story-book end. Not to worry though...
we always have the 'play-button' to enjoy them all again!
What a wonderful Surprise from partners of Musical Life...

2 or 3 chords is all Dan Whitley needs to inject his intense
spirit into and build a live and raw Rock song with tastes
of Spanish, progressive, and acoustic blues guitar galore
and awesome lyrics transcending our quest to be delivered
from the pains of life..and with a true heart, the Dan
Whitley band attempt to Call all Gods and show them how

From possibly the only woman who could embody the sound of

Pete Townshend
I am an Animal
I found myself whistling the beautiful vocal melody line of
this song the first day I heard it...a song about the sad
but beautiful experience of the human condition of life...
it's loss, loneliness, frailty, independence and the power
of memories which get hazy, yet are the fuel of what we
all are composed of...and no matter how serious his self
examination may seem, Townshend shares his pain with the
listener amid the swirl of beautiful music and hopeful
humor as he ends the song with a low-key growl.

Tom Waits
How's It Gonna End
Like a ghost pulling a wooden wagon full of discredited
skeletons with ironic stories to tell, the silent/spooky
broken beat that is Tom Waits reveals no easy truths and
just like the broken wagon wheel that traipes across the
unending highway; the answer to how it's gonna end is
paved with toil and blood and may come to none but it may
come to Tom and if it does he'll tell only with his avant
garde music creations meant for all: and also only one.

This band has a heavy Soundgarden influence and really mark
up the heavy beat with pure energy vocals rivaling Cornell
and the intensity that was. Hopefully they'll keep the

songs..hey...S Garden did it and maybe they can too! A
band to watch.
