11/7/2022 5:30:49 AM Hey Jimmy. Hope all is well with you n yours. Just dropped in to listen to some tunes and remembering our friendship with joy. Peace out from an old hippie LOLOL
2/10/2022 2:17:52 AM Thank you, Jimmy, for those ever so kind words of support and friendship and for your raison d’être for your continued membership that you posted on my page – that means a lot. Had my heart not been thinking of the members of IACMusic at the time and how I felt the site made such a valuable contribution to them as artists, I would not have made a personal as well as the very large financial investment that I made in the site. I sincerely felt that the site was one of if not the best site on the planet for songwriters, musicians, artists and bands. I continue to feel so, albeit sadly acknowledging at the same time that in several respects the site has fared poorly over the last seven or eight years. I and several other long time members continue to work toward re-establishing a path for the site to reach the potential that we truly believe is within its grasp, recognizing at the same time that nothing worthwhile in achieving ever comes easily. I share your feeling of our long friendship being a personal treasure and value it so, and I continue to hang onto the dream of a ‘fireside song swap under the stars’ coming to pass one day – perhaps somewhere on the banks of ‘where the mighty rivers meet.’ As for my writing, I write from my heart, Jimmy, and am not ashamed to wear it on my sleeve and on the pages and in the chapters of my life. 2/7/2021 2:58:05 PM Thanks, Jimmy, for the congrats on my page re the two Golden Kayak wins. I didn’t give any of the nominations that I had much if any chance of winning. I don’t know where the votes came from or even how many there were. With your song, “Prisoner Of My Heart” right up there near the top of the Country and All Genres charts I thought it would have been a shoo-in for the Country Golden Kayak. What do I know!!

1/20/2020 10:12:29 PM Thank you, Jimmy, for stopping by my page, and about the Golden Kayak nominations - no one was more surprised than I. In any event, it is an honour to be nominated by one's peers, and to have the opportunity to share the event with fellow nominees. Congratulations on the success of your songs on the IMP Play Charts, Jimmy. I love to see that happening for you. I still have hope that not too far down the road before I hang up my spurs that the trail leads to that fireside where you and I and Roy and Les turn our guitars and voices into the sounds of the shifting whispering sands of time. Wishing you all the best, always. Cowboy
